You must activate the Click2Call feature inside your CRM account - to do this please follow the instructions below:ġ. This will dial the number and your call will be connected when the person answers. Now click on the green phone icon to make the call - as shown below: The phone is now setup and ready to use with your Vonage Business extension.Just click on the keypad numbers with your mouse and click on the green phone icon to dial a number. Click the X at the top left of the Preferences window to return to the main screen.Under the Other section uncheck Enable inactivity timers. Select the Call menu from the top of the screen.The only codec that should remain under the Enabled Codecs column is G711 uLaw. Use the < button to move all codecs except G711 uLaw to the Available Codecs column on the left. Select the Codecs menu from the top of the screen and then click the Audio Codes tab.Click on the Advanced tab under the Accounts menu and make the following changes:.
Under the Firewall Traversal section verify that the None radio button is selected. Click the Topology tab under the Accounts menu.Enter *99 into the Number to dial for checking voicemail field. Click the Voicemail tab under the Accounts menu.Domain: :5060 (XXXXX is your Vonage Business account number).Uncheck the IP/Presence box under the Use for section.Select the Accounts menu from the top of the screen and click the General tab.click Account Settings from the main menu to access the Preferences menu. Select Audio Codes from the left navigation pane.Click Softphone, then Preferences from the main menu.Click OK at the bottom of the page to confirm all changes.Uncheck Send SIP keep-alives under the Connection Management section.Under the Register Settings section change Reregister every to 30 seconds.Click on the Advanced tab and make the following changes:.Verify that the Domain radio button is selected in the Domain Proxy section,.Domain: :5060 (XXXXXX is your Vonage Business account number).Enter the following information in the User Details section that you documented when you added the softphone to an extension in your Online Account:.NOTE: Marking the option for IM/Presence results in audio quality issues or loss of registration. Uncheck the IM/Presence box under the Allow this account for section.Open X-Lite, then click Account Settings from the Softphone menu.Download and install the X-Lite Softphone.SIP Password (If you do not know the extension’s SIP Password, just change it and click Save.).You will need this when you download and install the softphone.
